Terms of service

mtmux provides a command-line program, a browser client and an optional hosted pairing broker. Using the hosted broker means accepting these terms. If you only use local mode, or run the broker yourself, no part of the service is involved and only section 2 applies.

The mtmux CLI is published under the MIT licence, as stated in its package metadata, and the browser client ships with it. Nothing here narrows that licence: the MIT terms govern the software, and these terms govern the hosted service.

Subscriptions are processed by Dodo Payments and renew until cancelled. Cancel any time and keep paid features until the period ends. Refunds are given on request within 30 days of a charge. Prices may change with notice; your current period is never repriced.

The hosted broker is provided as-is, with no uptime commitment and no service level agreement. We do not offer one because we are not yet in a position to honour one, and a number we could not stand behind would be worse than none. If uninterrupted access matters to you, use local mode or run the broker yourself — both are supported and neither depends on us.

You may stop using mtmux at any time; mtmux stop ends the server on a machine and mtmux devices revoke ends a browser's access. We may suspend accounts that abuse the broker or violate section 3, with notice where practical.

The software is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for lost work, or for actions taken by programs — including coding agents — running in your sessions.
